The two-layer mouthguard is designed to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, arches, lips and gums, most often it is used in contact sports, where these type of injuries are more common (basketball, football, hockey, martial arts, American football, rugby...).

Two-layered construction features a shock-absorption silicone inner layer surrounded by a rigid outer layer specifically designed for upper and lower jaw protection. Mouthguard offers just the right fit, while the center breath channel allows open airflow. The mouthguard is shaped with help of hot water according to the procedure that is described in the instructions leaflet, to reach perfect fit.

Plastic mouthguard case for secure storage also included.

Fitting instructions: Fill the saucepan with water and bring to the boil. Remove water from heat source and leave to stand for 30 seconds, and then place mouthguard in the water for 90 seconds. Do not exceed heating time. Carefully remove mouthguard from hot water. Cool mouthguard under tap water for one second only to bring surface temperature to a comfortable level. Line up mouthguard with centre line of upper teeth, then carefully fit mouthguard into all upper teeth. Bite down firmly into mouthguard whilst sucking in strongly, use fingers to press edges of mouthguard onto teeth and gum line through the lips and cheeks, and continue for 20 seconds. Remove mouthguard and cool under tap water for 30 seconds. Place again in the mouth and test for a good firm fit. Repeat the procedure if the mouthguard doesn't fit perfectly. After fitting, and only if necessary, carefully use a pair of scissors or a fixed blade knife and trim mouthguard to remove any excess material. Remove material gradually to avoid trimming away the protective features.

Warning: Do not chew your mouthguard. In order for a mouthguard to protect, fit and last, it must be worn properly on your teeth and gums as indicated in the fitting instructions. If the mouthguard is not worn properly and/or is chewed, its protection, fit and durability will be greatly diminished.
