OLIMP L-GLUTAMINE POWDER is a product containing 100% pure pharmaceutical, micronised form of glutamine – an amino acid found in high concentrations in muscles and plasma. Glutamine is the most important amino acid for muscle tissue adaptation. It stores organic nitrogen, contributing to the positive nitrogen balance. It distributes amino groups for transamination and ultimately for muscle protein synthesis. Glutamine constitutes above 60% of free amino acid stores in muscle cells and over 20% of amino acids found in the body. Micronised L-glutamine is a form which is more easily absorbable and much more active than traditional glutamine and glutamine peptide. OLIMP L-GLUTAMINE POWDER-micronised increases the growth of strength and lean muscle mass, displays potent anti-catabolic action, and inhibits the activity of lysosomal enzymes which destroy muscle proteins; it is transformed into glutathione and elevates the level of this substance even to ca. 40%. As an antioxidant, glutathione stabilises lysosomal membranes and inhibits the release of catabolic lysosomal enzymes; as a transporting molecule for amino acids in the gamma-glutamyl cycle, it facilitates the synthesis of proteins and contributes to positive nitrogen balance; increases the hydration of cells and muscle glycogen stores; increases the growth hormone levels; lowers the cortisol level; accelerates the reduction of adipose tissue; supports immunity, alleviates fatigue symptoms; and lowers the lactic acid level. Intended use: for strength and endurance athletes, particularly those who are building their muscle mass.
Recommended use: Take 4 g of powder 2-3 times a day – before breakfast, after training and before sleep. Add 4 g (1½ scoops) of powder to 100 ml of water.
