L-carnitine is an amino acid that is naturally present in the body. Battery Carnitine is a dietary supplement containing 1000mg of L-carnitine tartrate per capsule.

In the body, carnitine acts as a transporter of long-chain fatty acids into the  mitochondria to be oxidized and produce energy. L-carnitine is formed from lysine and methionine, especially in the liver and kidneys. Vitamin C, iron, vitamin B6 and niacin are also required for the L-carnitine synthesis. Carnitine needs may in some circumstances exceed the biosynthetic capacity of the organism; then it is advisable to add L-carnitine as a dietary supplement.

Battery Carnitine is ideal for anyone looking for an easy-to-consume source of carnitine that can be taken throughout the day. It is recommended to consume 1 serving of L-Carntine 2-3 times daily with meals for best results.
