PURE CARBS contains maltodextrin D6 which is very well tolerated, easily digested and has a pleasantly neutral to slightly sweet flavour. It is purely plant-based and naturally gluten-, lactose- and fructose-free. Very suitable for endurance athletes, as the carbohydrates are long-chain, are absorbed slowly and provide a steady supply of energy. Maltodextrin makes it easier to achieve a calorie surplus and thus to gain weight.
PURE CARBS is very low sugar content, so it is only pure carbohydrates for muscle building. Pure carbohydrates without fat together with the long-chain carbohydrate structure of D6 lead to a fast and long-term energy supply. Ideal for endurance athletes, as the effect only sets in after approx. 2 hours.
*Dextrose equivalent (DE) is a measure of the amount of reducing sugars present in a sugar product, expressed as a percentage on a dry basis relative to dextrose. The dextrose equivalent gives an indication of the average degree of polymerisation (DP) for starch sugars. A maltodextrin with a DE of 6 has 6% of the reducing power of dextrose which has a DE of 100.
