RECOVERY SHAKE from the Energy+ line was developed in cooperation with the Slovenian Cycling Federation and contains the optimal combination of protein and carbohydrates for complete recovery after endurance sport or other physical activity.

During exercise, especially intense endurance training, the body uses a large amount of energy, which it draws from the food and drink consumed before and during exercise, as well as from glycogen. When the glycogen reserves in the body are depleted, this is experienced as a drop in energy, exhaustion and weakness. After such activity, it is very important to replace the lost energy as quickly as possible with sufficient carbohydrate intake to replenish glycogen and to feed the muscles with protein, which is absorbed quickly and efficiently.

RECOVERY SHAKE is a product that makes this possible, as it contains maltodextrin and dextrose to replenish muscle glycogen and fructose to replenish liver glycogen. Muscle recovery is ensured by the purest protein source of highest quality, i.e. whey isolate and whey hydrolysate, which are the fastest to be absorbed into the body and supply the muscles with the necessary amino acids after intense exercise.

Maltodextrin is an excellent, more complex starch source of carbohydrate that breaks down slightly slower and takes a little longer to be absorbed in the gut than dextrose. Dextrose is a super-fast carbohydrate source that provides fast glycogen replenishment in the muscles, while fructose quickly replenishes glycogen in the liver.

Whey protein isolate and hydrolysate are very low in fat and lactose, so they do not stress the digestive system and can be consumed even if lactose intolerant. The low fat and lactose content makes the product easily digestible.
