The classic Mexican tortilla chips comes from Mexico and is made from a tortilla, cut into triangles and then deep fried. Tortilla chips are very popular all over the world and compete with the classic chips. IronMaxx® has decided to develop a healthier version, which is based on corn in combination with high quality pea protein. These tortilla chips are exactly how they should be: fresh, crunchy and full of flavour. They are the ideal snack for an evening out, alone or with friends, also you can have them as a post-workout snack or simply in between meals. The Protein Tortilla Chips by IronMaxx® are available in 3 delicious flavours: Barbecue Style, Vegan Cheese Style or Italian Style with a fresh tomato-basil note.
Lower in fat than conventional tortilla chips
These tortilla chips not only taste great, but also boasts and outstanding nutritional value, therefore the athletes can consume them completely guilt-free. To ensure that the tortilla chips from IronMaxx® have a lower fat content than conventional tortillas, they are not deep-fried but baked. The result is only 2.5g saturated fatty acids per 100g. Also, the sugar content is very low, just about 4g per 100g. This makes these chips definitely suitable for diet phases. Depending on the flavour, the protein tortillas provide you with up to 33g of protein per 100g. Protein helps to maintain bones as well as to maintain and increase muscle mass. This product is highly digestible as it is gluten-free and free from any allergens or traces of allergens. For the sake of the environment, IronMaxx® has also avoided the use of palm oil. The protein tortilla chips do not contain any animal ingredients, so they are also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
